Khi nhận được bảng điểm mình thực sự kiểu “vỡ oà” trong sung sướng vì đang chuẩn bị tâm lí đi thi lần 2. Tuy nhiên, niềm vui chưa kéo dài được quá 2 phút thì phát hiện ra sai D.O.B !!!! Điều đầu tiên trong đầu mình là “Dech!” 😂😂
Mình key sai ngày sinh của mình trên website của Pearson. Và test administrator cũng không phát hiện ra luôn 😂. Mình hỏi bạn bè mình và cả anh Huy, ai cũng nói chưa thấy ai bị vậy hết trơn 😂. Sau đó anh Huy và Amy rất nhiệt tình chỉ mình cách nộp “update personal information” form và live chat với Pearson về case này. Pearson họ cũng hướng dẫn y chang vậy luôn và confirm là sẽ không ảnh hưởng đến điểm. Tối hôm qua mình nộp form và vừa được update thông tin chính xác rồi. Bảng điểm đúng ngày sinh rồi!! 😍😍
Mình chỉ khuyên các bạn thi lần đầu tiên nên check kĩ lại thông tin trước 2 ngày. Để nếu cần thì mình tự sửa được luôn. Còn nếu chẳng may bị sai thông tin gì đó thì bình tĩnh live chat và điền form thông tin gửi Pearson. Đừng “cà cuống” như mình nha. Thi xong đi ăn bát phở Thìn mà sốt hết cả ruột 😭.
Kinh nghiệm luyện thi PTE 79 siêu thực tế
Chuyện đi thi là vậy, giờ mình xin được chia sẻ về quá trình học của mình. Mình đăng kí với Helper từ tháng 11 năm ngoái. Mình từng review 1-1 với a Huy và Hiền Đặng. Từ lúc Hiền vẫn còn là học viên ấy, giờ thành trainer của Helper luôn rùi mình mới đi thi 😂. Vì lịch thi mình bị đổi do Covid nên tinh thần học thất thường lắm. Mình học tập trung nhấp trong 3 tuần cuối, 8 tiếng 1 ngày. Mình học kĩ nhất các phần RA, RS, SST. Ngày nào mình cũng dành ra khoảng 2-3hrs cho SST. Xui cái là đi thi trúng có 1 câu 😭) và WFD.
Phần Speaking
Lười đến mấy thì cũng nên gửi Speaking Review nha mọi người. Mình gửi được khoảng 3,4 bài. Đặc biệt cảm ơn Tú và Khuê là 2 ng review chính cho mình. Mấy điều cần nhớ đối với Speaking là: bình tĩnh, chia cụm, đọc tròn chữ, “buông bỏ”.
Lần thi này mình làm RS chỉ nói đc khoảng 50-60%. Nhưng mình cố gắng giữ tốc độ nói bình thường. Vậy nên không bị ảnh hưởng nhiều lắm.
Mình gặp câu:

Phần Writing
Dành cho những ai chưa biết (hoặc có thể chỉ có mình không biết), là phần SWT phải tự type. Mình làm mock test được copy paste từ đề bài luôn nên vào phòng thi mất mấy giây khựng lại. Nhưng may la SWT cũng dễ. Writing thì cứ template là yên tâm thôi. Mình thấy nên học template từ sớm, học dồn dễ bị lẫn lộn lắm.
Phần Listening
Với phần SST, mình chuẩn bị sẵn tâm lí là sẽ có 3 câu. Và chắc chắn sẽ gặp câu mới. Nhưng chắc do thi lần đầu nên mình chỉ có 2 câu SST thôi. 1 bài là vitamin D, và 1 bài mới là Industrialisation. Bài mới dễ nghe, nói tốc độ vừa phải đủ thời gian take note nên không vấn đề gì.
WFD: mình trúng tủ được 2/3

Các phần còn lại của Listening mình không ôn tủ. Nưng nhìn chung dễ nghe và câu hỏi không quá khó.
Phần Reading
Mình tập trung học ngữ pháp và vocab. Phần này mình chỉ chạy shuffle phần FIB va DD 10 câu 1 ngày thôi. Những phần còn lại lâu lâu đá qua 1 chút cho vui 🙂.
Một điều quan trọng là nên làm mock test trước khi thi để quen với format đề. Mình làm hết cả 5 đề Real Exam trên PTE.tools. Vậy nên đến lúc thi thật không bị hồi hộp chút nào hết trơn.
